Habanero Peach Pork Chops
Sweet peaches and a touch of habanero heat make our Habanero Peppery Peach Preserves the perfect complement to juicy grilled pork chops. As the preserves glaze the meat, they create a sweet-and-spicy finish that brings out the pork's rich flavor.
Whether cooked on the grill, a ridged griddle, or in a cast iron skillet, these pork chops are simple enough for a weeknight meal but flavorful enough for company. Just be careful not to overcook them. An internal temperature of 145°F will ensure tender, juicy results every time.

Habanero Peach Pork Chop
Ingredients
- 1 – 1 ½ inch thick bone-in pork chops, 1 chop per serving
- 1 jar The Old Mill Habanero Peppery Peach Preserves
- 1 jar The Old Mill Peachy Peach Halves, 1 – 2 peach halves per serving
- 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
Instructions
- Get a griddle with ridges hot (or grill) hot and brush on the vegetable oil. Add your pork chops. Cover with another skillet or lid to hold heat in while they sear on one side for about 3 minutes. Then turn them over and repeat. Turn the heat down or move the chops to a cooler zone and continue to cook them for another 5-6 minutes or until they reach 145 degrees internally. In the last 1-2 minutes, brush on a little of the preserves and turn them to just brown them a little more. Remove and let them rest on a plate while you coat them with more preserves to glaze the chops.
- While the chops rest, lay peach halves cut side down on the griddle until heated through and grill marks are well defined, then turn them over and turn the heat off, letting them cook just another minute or two.
- Serve each pork chop with 1 – 2 grilled peach halves.
