The popular vacation-planning website asks its visitors to vote on their Pigeon Forge favorites in a variety of categories every year, and all of us at The Old Mill Candy Kitchen couldn’t be more pleased with this year’s results. Our candy makers create classic American sweets the old-fashioned way, preparing them by hand, using the freshest, most wholesome ingredients. You can watch our makers stir those ingredients as they bubble and cook in traditional copper candy kettles. And you can taste the quality in the delicious results.
Caramels, brittles, divinity, fudge, hand-dipped chocolates, and saltwater taffy are just a few of the beloved classics our customers can’t get enough of. And then there are our famous Bear Paws, a signature candy so popular, folks eat them as fast as we can make them! You can enjoy all of these and more in a friendly, welcoming, newly remodeled space. You’ll love watching our vintage caramel-tapping machine and our antique mechanical taffy puller and cutter-wrapper at work. These charming mechanical marvels, each of which is nearing or over one hundred years old, delight children and adults alike.
