Blue Cheese Grit Cakes with Fig and Walnuts

Cheese grits find a new twist when they are formed into square cakes and lightly fried. Our stone ground grits cook to creamy perfection in less than 10 minutes and are enhanced with the flavors of blue cheese, fig, and balsamic vinegar.

This recipe is great for the busy host. The grits must be made ahead to cool for easy slicing, and the fig topping can be mixed ahead of time and heated just before serving.
