This is how we make the maple butter our guests at the Old Mill Restaurant rave about! We serve a bowl of sweetly maple-flavored soft butter with basket of corn fritters to welcome you to a meal at one of our tables. You can make it at home by dissolving the Maple Crystals in a little warm water and blending with softened butter. Don't forget the fritter mix! Each container makes 10 batches.
You can vary the flavor by stirring in cinnamon or grated orange rind, or add some finely chopped pecans or walnuts. Besides being fantastic with our fritters, It is great on pancakes, biscuits, waffles or bagels too.
