Granola

Ingredients:
3 cups OLD MILL THICK CUT TABLE OATS
1 cup slivered almonds
1 cup chopped pecans
3/4 cup pumpkin or sunflower seeds
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup canola oil
1/3 SORGHUM or OLD MILL MAPLE SYRUP
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup unsweetened flaked coconut
1 cup dried cranberries or raisins
1 cup peanut butter-flavored chips or dried blueberries

Directions:
Position oven rack in center of oven. Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.

In a large bowl, combine oats, nuts, pumpkin seeds, and brown sugar.

In a smaller bowl, combine oil, sorghum, vanilla extract, and salt, stirring well. Pour over oats mixture and stir until ingredients are evenly coated. Transfer to a large, rimmed, buttered baking sheet. Bake 25 minutes, stirring after 15 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle coconut over oat mixture. Stir and spread in a single layer; continue baking until granola is evenly browned, 10 to 15 minutes.

Transfer to wire racks; let cool completely. Stir in cranberries and peanut butter- flavored chips.

Makes about 12 cups.
