Sept 23: 14th Annual Old Mill Heritage Day (Free Admission)
Heritage Day will be filled with music, food, and fun and games for all ages. Appalachian history and craft experts will teach how pioneers made lye soap and other crafts central to the settlers’ livelihoods. Take a free guided tour of our Historic Old Mill, and see how antique engines were used. Bring chairs and blankets!
Oct 1 - 31: Fall at The Old Mill
It’s the perfect time of year to make your way to The Old Mill. We’re keeping up with the color changes of our surrounding mountains and putting up decorations around the Old Mill Square. The Candy Kitchen is making their favorite fall Pumpkin Fudge, and we’re stocking the General Store, Farmhouse Kitchen, Pigeon River Pottery and Sassafras with gifts, gadgets, and accessories to match the season. Spend a day with us, then enjoy a delicious meal at The Old Mill Restaurant or Pottery House Café & Grille.
Nov 11: Holiday Open House
Join us as we showcase holiday gift items and our stores. Sample food items great for holiday parties and get ideas for your holiday menus and decorations.
Nov 23: Thanksgiving at The Old Mill
